History

The exhibition is arranged in 7 halls and 2 interiors in a building that is cultural monument from the beginning of XX century. Original ancient fishing tools and modern tools and rigs are displayed in a chronological sequence. There are original bone and copper rods, harpoons, clay weights for fishing nets, iron sapkans, jigging, different types of networks, made from plant fibers by the Tutrakan fishermen - Orie, Diffa, yang, laspernik, chigarnitsa, setka, skombrelnitsa, ukleynik, cerkme and est. Beside the net equipment fishing rod tools. Photographs and graphics tell about the fishing traditions in Low Denube settelments. Beside the displayed fishimg tools visitors can know about the social organization of the feshermen, accounting, internal order of their homes, their spiritual culture.
